The historical ambiance and attentive staff stood out during my stay. the room could have used better upkeep and the dining experience felt a bit disorganized at times. It's a pleasant option for a relaxing visit, but some improvements would enhance the overall experience.

Recommend it for friends looking for a relaxing getaway
The breakfast had all kinds of choices and the staff were so friendly like they were not just doing a job. My room was quiet and a good size with views of the hills, perfect after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly pocket change but still worth it if you ask me.

it was super handy for the village wedding, very peaceful vibes, got plenty hot water and a great shower. the linen was spotlessly clean, too. i liked how close it was to everything in the village.
the room was kinda small and did not have enough toiletries like shower gel or shampoo. breakfast service was a bit disorganized and wait times were too long.

The bar area had a cozy vibe, and I loved unwinding in the charming garden space with a good book. There’s plenty of room to relax, but I noticed the furniture in my room could use a little TLC. it was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend hitting up the Deli on the Square for a bite! 🍽️

Historical Victorian Architecture, Cozy Lounge Areas, Live Local Entertainment Nights
Attention is needed for cleanliness and maintenance issues like threadbare carpets and dated bathrooms!!! Limited parking options can be quite frustrating during busy periods, and the slow, small lift may not accommodate everyone's needs comfortably!!!

The superior double room was overall agreeable, providing a comfortable space for our short stay. Proximity to local attractions made it easy for us to explore the area during our visit.

Just a solid selection for a short visit in Strathpeffer with extraordinarily good value for money. The lounge room was a nice spot to relax with a drink and watch TV. Consider taking advantage of the breakfast offerings. it’s handy before heading out for the day.

missingWrote a review on 03 Junfriendly staffdelicious breakfastcomfortable roomscobwebsparking difficulties
I enjoyed a pleasant one-night stay at The Highland Hotel. The room I had, a Standard Double Room, was spacious and offered a lovely view of the surrounding area. The historic Victorian decor really added charm to the ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive, making my check-in smooth and hassle-free. Breakfast had several good options, but the coffee could use some improvement. One downside was the cleanliness issue. I noticed cobwebs in the room and the floors didn't seem thoroughly cleaned. Parking was also tricky upon arrival and could have been better organized. Despite that, I had a good night’s sleep thanks to the comfortable bed. I appreciate that it's dog-friendly too, which is a definite plus.
